If there are any markings on the frame or fork, they ll want descriptions/photos, including location. If you don t know models, better pictures will help others to identify them.

Do you know for sure that it s a French frame. If it has a French thread bottom bracket and a French headset, then it s almost certainly a French frame because nobody else would be stubborn/stupid enough to use them. A French bottom bracket may be marked 35x1 on one or both cups; if you take the top nut off a French headset, the lockring underneath will have a flat edge on the inside ring, which matches a flattened spot on the steerer tube. When you go to a website, your web browser downloads all the bits and pieces that compose the website text files and graphics, sound files, video, Java applets, Flash files etc., and then displays the copy that it s downloaded to your hard drive. If you leave that page, and then return to it, your browser asks the web server:

Browser: Hey, my history says I was here a few minutes back, and I ve already downloaded copies of all the files. Have any of those files changed, or are they still the same as they were when I downloaded them.

Server: Naw, they re all still the same. You don t need to download them again.

Browser: Swell. Then I ll just show the copies I already have sitting in my cache folder, instead of wasting the bandwidth and downloading them again.

When there was a lot less Internet bandwidth, this was a way to get pages to display faster.
